The project I developed the most skills during was “Sleeping Man”. This is because this was the first real clay project I did. It was extremely difficult to do however after the piece was complete I was very happy with the finished product and the skills I learned.

The two pieces I found that really demonstrated my growth as an artist are sleeping man to my second dragon head. The amount of detail and realistic qualities of the projects are extremely different.
3. What is a technique you used in your artwork that worked well? Explain what technique it was and why it was successful.
The technique that turned out best in my artwork is the scales on the dragon. It turned out amazing and very realistic. I truly enjoyed the finished product however it was extremely tedious.
4. Choose a place or artwork where the subject matter reflects you as an artist. One that you have a personal connection to. Please explain.
The artwork that represents me best is my dragon. This is because dragons are my spirit animal and I believe I was actually a dragon in a past life. It is the best depiction of myself as an artist.

My most successful project was definitely my dragon. It turned out amazing and I really love it. There really isn’t a theme to it however it is very good looking and I enjoy it.
